Jon Vickers, the proud owner of Electric Eel Solutions has an impressive background. He has served as a Sub Mariner in the SA Navy, an Elite Diver in the SA Navy, and even a Royal Marine commando. But Jon's talents don't stop there.
When he's not conquering the depths of the ocean, Jon is an avid open water swimmer. He has successfully swum around Robben Island, challenged the mighty English Channel, and taken on numerous other extreme swims. But Jon's dedication to his community doesn't end with his aquatic adventures.
Jon also volunteers as a coach for Big Bay Surf Lifesaving in the picturesque Cape Town area. And at home, he is a loving husband and father to two incredible sons.
Jon's educational journey took him to Congella Technical College in KZN, where he honed his skills. He then completed his N subjects at Pinelands Technical College in Cape Town. To further his expertise, Jon undertook module courses and a Trade Test at ECA Cape Town, earning his unit standards in both single and 3-phase electrical work.
